I have done many reviews of products that simply make your life easier, and I LOVE products that simplify my hectic life. But I must say no other product no matter how easy to install or how easy to operate can compare to the Simple Fit shades from Redi Shade.
I came across this amazing website a few weeks ago and I thought the concept was really neat. Now would it work the way they advertise in their website? We all know some times products do not work as described in their website, so I was really looking forward to see if these shades are all they say they are.
Let me tell you what Simple fit shades are before I continue …. Redi Shade knows how daunting a bare window can be. That’s why they make window coverings that are fast, easy, and affordable. In fact, you can install most of their shades in less than a minute – really! – and their shades are a fraction of the cost of traditional window coverings…..That is what they said and exactly what I wanted to see with my own eyes.
So DH and decided we were going to get a shade for his den whose window is right on the outside hallway were anyone walking around can see the inside of the house and that is something I am not really comfortable with.
I ordered the shades (the process is really easy) and the shades got here in just a few days. The first thing I have to say is that the shades quality is what you would call top-notch. We sat for a couple of minutes and read the instructions to make sure we did everything the way we were supposed to.
After reading the instruction and making sure we know what everything was for we proceeded to install the shade (he worked – I watched). It honestly took less than a minute to set up the shade! Make sure the adjustable trigger end mount is fully depressed inside the Simple Fit mounting system by pressing firmly on the mounting plate with the palm of your hands .You should hear a click once the trigger lock is fully in place.
Confirm you have the proper fit by holding the shade in the desired window location for mounting….The trigger end should be on the right side of your window….A little tip do not try to set up both ends at the same time, do one side and then place the other side and trigger the lock, make sure not to set it off before time or be aware if you do that the spring has a lot of pressure and the piece can go flying if you do.
Peel the tape liner on each mounting plate. Then place the fixed end mount of the shade in the desired position in your window frame. Next raise and place the trigger end mount in position, and lock the shade in place by pressing the trigger inward with a gentle touch and you are done. It sounds easy and it is EASY!
After setting up the shades, DH and I looked at each other and said WOW at the same time, operating the shades is equally easy ……..Simple fit exceeded my expectations by far and it is truly a WOW product!
